Just all about films

Okay, so on Tuesday I watched this film called 'The To Do List' . Its basically about a girl called Brandy who wants to be more sexually experienced before she goes to college, so she makes up a to do list of things to tick off when completed. I laughed loads, there are funny moments in the film but most of them are cringe, you will make a cringe face if you watch this film! As there are just moments that if were to happen to us we'd probably die of embarrassment. I don't want to spoil the film, so if you are interested in a kind of coming of age comedy about sex, embarrassment, love and all the things in between I strongly suggest you watch it !! However I wouldn't watch it with the parents, this is a film where watching it with parents is a no no.

Another film that I have recently watched is 'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies', I am pretty sure everyone knows what has happened in the Hobbit so far but for those who don't here is what has happened;
Bilbo Baggins - Hobbit-  is sent on a quest with dwarves and Gandalf to reclaim the dwarves home - The Lonely Mountain- that has been taken over by a dragon as the dwarf king had an unhealthy obsession with gold and riches. In the journey to the home they encounter foes, allies, elves, orcs, giant spiders, goblins and of course what film wouldn't be complete without a brief encounter with Gollum aka Smeegle. Any-who the journey is filled with mishaps and success, it is just your basic J.R.R. Tolkien journey through middle earth.

At the end of the second instalment of the films 'Desolation of Smaug' we saw Smaug - The Dragon- flying over to Lake Town. I won't give anything that happened in the film away, but all I can say is that it was brilliant end to a fantastic trilogy of films, although the last film I felt, personally was a little bit dragged out overall it was amazing. I was on the edge of my seat, I was murmuring things like 'go the other way' ' no!' 'don't go up there' 'Oh my god that orc just killed my favourite character' 'yay!' you know the basic things you shout at an action filled, fantasy mania filled, orc filled battle film. If you haven't watched the trilogy I strongly suggest you do, I love it, and if you love films like this then I am sure you will too.

Spotify - Whats in my playlist ?

Okay so I recently just got Spotify, so I thought this would be a chance to listen to different types of music as well as the music I already listen too. I love Nicki Minaj, Iggy Azalea, Lana Del Rey, Artic Monkeys, Hippie Sabotage, and many more but you can see that it is a wide range of music and I wanted to develop the music I listen too. All my friends have different tasts, one likes The Courteeners, Bombay Bicycle Club and another likes You Me At Six, Fall Out Boy and The Pretty Reckless, so I get to hear many artists and I like most of them. So to have a wider range of music taste and music I like I added these artists to my playlist so when I am listening I stumble upon a new song, and this has given me more artists to listen too. I have also fell in love with this guy called Jack Johnson, he does cute songs which are nice to listen too, so if you have time go and check him out because I adore him and his songs I can relate too. Other artists I say you need to check out are:

Artic Monkeys
Years & Years
The 1975
Azealia Banks
Florence and the Machine
George Ezra
The Hoosiers
Imagine Dragons
Kaiser Chiefs
Lucy Rose
Haim
Tove Lo
Jack Johnson

So comment of you have checked ant of these artist's out and if you liked them, also if you have any bands or singers you absolutely adore comment them down below.

What am I listening to this week?

Ever since I heard Becky G's cover 'Girlfriend' of Justin Bieber's 'Boyfriend' I have been a fan! She has amazing talent, the singing, rapping, dancing makes her the perfect package to be next years biggest act! She is 17 years old, and already she has had hits in the billboard charts. At this moment in time I am in love with her song "Can't stop dancing"! I literally cannot stop listening to it, it's really catchy, it's a different background beat to other songs, it's different from her past songs. People criticise that there is no rapping in the song however I believe that this song would have been ruined by rapping so I am glad that it's just singing. I listen to it whilst I am getting ready, doing my chores, when I am on the bus, walking to college, walking home, even when I am studying, and I think this song would be perfect for a couples song, the chorus is romantic in my opinion as it just says you don't want to leave the person you are dancing with as that moment is so perfect you just want to dance forever, and that could apply to anyone, a couple or people who have just met on the dance floor. This song is one I will listen to in 10 years time, I am just so in love with the song. Another song of Becky G's I adore is "Shower" it's catchy, bubbly, and every time the song appears on my ipod I just want to dance and be free because this song just makes me really happy and free.

As well as Becky G, I cannot get enough of Hippie Sabotage. Their remix of Tove Lo's "Habits" was amazing, but their remix of Njomza's "Ridin' Solo" made my ears go to heaven, I wish I had this little gem when I was going through my break up, it's got meaning to the song, it has words I can relate to, and I am sure anyone going through issues in a relationship or even a break up can relate to this song. Even if you aren't this song just has an heart stopping beat that just sends you into the depths of space because its breath taking, so I am confused to as why this song isn't on any 'top 40' lists. I must admit I discovered this song from an Evan Peters vine but I am so glad I did go and try to find the song, it's one of my new favourites and I hope you guys love it too, but if you aren't really into the remix, the original song is just as good.

Becky G - Girlfriend

Becky G - Shower

Hippie Sabotage - Ridin' Solo (Remix)

Njomza - Ridin' Solo

Tove Lo- Habits (Stay High) - Hippie Sabotage Remix

Tove Lo - Habits (Stay High)

So there is a little bit about what I am listening to this week :) Hope you liked my first review, I will try to do more in the future. Please let me know what you think of these songs, do you like them? Do you have any better songs I should listen too? Leave them down in the comments and I will listen too them :)
