What am I listening to this week?

Ever since I heard Becky G's cover 'Girlfriend' of Justin Bieber's 'Boyfriend' I have been a fan! She has amazing talent, the singing, rapping, dancing makes her the perfect package to be next years biggest act! She is 17 years old, and already she has had hits in the billboard charts. At this moment in time I am in love with her song "Can't stop dancing"! I literally cannot stop listening to it, it's really catchy, it's a different background beat to other songs, it's different from her past songs. People criticise that there is no rapping in the song however I believe that this song would have been ruined by rapping so I am glad that it's just singing. I listen to it whilst I am getting ready, doing my chores, when I am on the bus, walking to college, walking home, even when I am studying, and I think this song would be perfect for a couples song, the chorus is romantic in my opinion as it just says you don't want to leave the person you are dancing with as that moment is so perfect you just want to dance forever, and that could apply to anyone, a couple or people who have just met on the dance floor. This song is one I will listen to in 10 years time, I am just so in love with the song. Another song of Becky G's I adore is "Shower" it's catchy, bubbly, and every time the song appears on my ipod I just want to dance and be free because this song just makes me really happy and free.

As well as Becky G, I cannot get enough of Hippie Sabotage. Their remix of Tove Lo's "Habits" was amazing, but their remix of Njomza's "Ridin' Solo" made my ears go to heaven, I wish I had this little gem when I was going through my break up, it's got meaning to the song, it has words I can relate to, and I am sure anyone going through issues in a relationship or even a break up can relate to this song. Even if you aren't this song just has an heart stopping beat that just sends you into the depths of space because its breath taking, so I am confused to as why this song isn't on any 'top 40' lists. I must admit I discovered this song from an Evan Peters vine but I am so glad I did go and try to find the song, it's one of my new favourites and I hope you guys love it too, but if you aren't really into the remix, the original song is just as good.

Train tracks and Man Flu

So yesterday I went to the orthodontist to get my bottom brace set put on my teeth. I have had my top set since March, and now they say I need a bottom set, this makes me so delighted to finally get my train tracks. Yay. Which is just absolutely bloody fantastic because now they won't get taken off till I am in university -.- so there are my chances gone at seducing the lovely uni lads because who wants to date an 18 year old with 13 year old teeth -.- yeah so that's one great thing about braces, another thing is the pain!! It is absolutely unbearable, I feel as if my teeth are being ripped out of my gums very slowly, my lips are swollen, I have a lisp as they have had to put glue on my teeth so my top teeth don't touch my bottom teeth, but yes back to the pain, I couldn't eat cake yesterday, CAKE! I softened it up in the microwave so that it would be easier to eat, but oh no my teeth don't want me to taste that delicious chocolate cake, and I love chocolate cake so the fact that I cant eat it due to pain, tortures me :( I love food, and the only thing I can eat is soup, don't get me wrong I love soup but I would rather have toast with my soup but I cant because I cannot bite the toast off because my teeth don't touch because of the bloody glue :@ And on top of all this I have a cold, a bad cold, the sort of cold that makes your eyes water, nose run, voice croak, the sort that makes you stay in bed, have a day off college (but I think we can agree that a day off isn't so bad, gives us time to watch Netflix and catch up on the walking dead).

This post was just to let off a little bit of steam, I know I don't have consistent posts but I am still trying to find my niche!! I will put stuff on about life issues, I will also try and do reviews of films, shows and books, a post I want to do soon is about Christmas presents, what to get your friends, family so that should be a fun one :) If you are ill what's your go to tv show to watch? Christmas Novelties

Okay so I love Christmas!! I love the months leading up to Christmas, I love walking in to shops and hearing "Jingle Bells" play, as it means its the socially acceptable time to sing Christmas songs. It always seems to put me into a chipper mood, it puts a bounce in my step when I see Christmas decorations, Christmas lights, trees, wrapping paper !! Me and my friend meet up every week on a Monday, we call it "unhealthy Mondays", because we like to reward ourselves for eating so healthily in the week ;) (haha yeah right) anyways we found stalls with Christmas food such as apple stuffing buttys, caramelised apples, do-nuts and HOT CHOCOLATE !! No Christmas is complete without a hot chocolate with whipped cream, covered in marshmallows and a flake sitting right on top. It warms my fingers as they have froze due to minus temperatures that have graced Britain with their presence.

Back to the title, this post is all about the Christmas novelties that make up Christmas, that make us know it is Christmas. One novelty is the weather, the cold, freezing weather that makes us jump up and down just to warm our toes, that makes us stay snuggled under our duvets wishing that we could stay in bed just that little while longer so that we can gather the courage just to get up and go downstairs for our breakfast, the weather that makes us put on silly hats just to make sure our ears don't freeze off, that makes us want to breathe in the outside air just so that we can see our own breath leaving pour bodies. Snow is a novelty !! Snowballs fights, sledging down hills, snowflakes, winter wonderlands, seeing the hills topped with snow like a cake is topped with icing. Making snow angles, snowmen, the feeling of numbness your fingers get when you are trying to make the perfect snowball. Another novelty I love that Christmas time brings around is baking gingerbread men! The smell of the ginger is just delicious, it sends my nostrils to heaven, then when you decorate the gingerbread people and put them in the decorated house, it puts a huge grin on my face. Another Christmas novelty is when the coco cola advert comes on the telly, people just automatically know that this is the time, this is the time to spend with your family, huddled around the fire or hidden under blankets watching tv, watching I am a celebrity, X factor as this is when we know that the year is coming to its end.

I know its Christmas in my house when my mum puts Christmas lights around the banisters, it makes me happy, it makes me realise that "Shit its Christmas" I can lounge around watch movies, just pig out, I can wait till new year to exercise again that now I can eat as many gingerbread men I want, I can do nothing but relax and finally watch Elf!! (Yes I haven't seen Elf, all my friends say its good so I guess I have to watch it as everyone says its the best Christmas film) but my favourite Christmas film is Love Actually. Its full of joy, drama, romance, its just one of my favourite films :) I love lighting my candles, it just makes my room look extra Christmassy, also I love the twinkly lights around my television they just look cute and adorable :')

First Ever Blog Post!!!

Hey there :)
So I guess you have stumbled upon this blog by accident, or you may have searched for it. Nevertheless you are here!! So lets get talking shall we?

I will introduce myself and this blog and just talk, as its my first ever blog :P So my name is Katy Nella Morgan, hence the name KatyNells, this is a nickname my uncle gave me so I thought it'd be nice to name myself that, it was either KatyNells or Umbernella, so I think I have gone with the better choice. If you have read the "all about me" section you will know some stuff already, but for those who haven't I will say it again :)

I am 17 years old, I live in Manchester in the United Kingdom. I live with my mum, step dad, two sisters, two cats and a rabbit. I am the oldest sister which means I get the blame for everything, my star sign is Cancer, as I was born in July. I love watching films, I could spend weeks watching tv and Netflix (if anyone has a cure for Netflix let me know), I love listening to music, all sorts and I like to read when I am not busy. I am currently at college studying Law, Business and Psychology and this is random but I hope to go to university and study Archaeology and Anthropology.

So this blog is new to me I don't know what I am doing, but I have thought that I want to do something new and exciting!! And I thought writing a blog would be that. I have always wanted to do something like this or youtubing but I will start with this for now :) I want to reach out to many people as possible because I have been through so much, and I believe I will go through so much more, and I want to share my experiences, thoughts, lessons I have learnt along the way of my journey and this is one way I will do that !!! Even if this blog is a complete and utter fail at least I can say "I tried, it wasn't a success but I tried", you don't know what will happen if you don't try, so here is me sticking my foot out into the water and if it works, great!! If it doesn't, its another learning experience. I will try and post daily, but if I don't I will make it up by posting a few in a short space of time.
